Authors and photographers James and Karla Murray will be at the Sixth Street Community Center in the East Village on Tuesday, April 19th (6:30 – 8:00 pm) for a presentation and signing of their recent book, Store Front II – A History Preserved: The Disappearing Face of New York, hosted by the Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation. The Murrays will give a visual presentation spotlighting the ongoing story of New York’s independent shops, bodegas, bars, and more, focusing on the photos and stories told in Store Front II.
