Let There Be GWAR, Bob Gorman and Roger Gastman’s authorized history of the Scumdogs of the Universe, took the Internet by force yesterday afternoon with Bohabs at Rolling Stone, NME, Revolver, Metal Hammer, Entertainment Weekly and more all rushing to report the book’s upcoming Fall 2015 release. Described as “the most monstrous book since the Necronomicon” and coming in at a hefty 350 pages, Let There Be GWAR follows the band’s gruesome history from their earliest days in Richmond, VA, through the chaos of the ’80s, the filth of the ’90s, and all the way up to their modern displays of large-scale bloody opulence. Let There Be GWAR will be available from Gingko Press September 12th; pre-orders have already started at GWAR’s official merch site.
