Preston Fassel of Rue Morgue invited Art of the B Movie Poster editor Adam Newell to answer a “Sinister Seven” questions for the magazine, the results of which were published on Rue Morgue’s website Tuesday. Topics covered include the upcoming book, Newell’s own favorite posters, the comforting power of nostalgia, and the recent resurgence of grindhouse culture. Along with the insightful interview, Fasell also has some kind things to say about the book, stating that “one more seminal text is about to be added to the canon” of grindhouse academia.
